Hello and welcome to Sadie's Safe Harbor! Thank you for your interest in adopting a dog from us. We are a dedicated group of volunteers who work hard toward matching dog's in need with their perfect family. The following application has been developed to give us the best chance at finding a match that will last a lifetime. All of our foster dogs live with foster families who take the time to get to know them and help them become well rounded canine companions. Our primary focus is on learning each dog's needs and then placing them into homes that are most suitable to those needs. As such, having a thorough understanding of potential adoptive families and their environment is a vital part of our process. We ask that you please take the time to answer as many of the following questions as you can and be as open and honest as you can. Once one of our volunteers has had the chance to review your application and compare it to the dog you are interested in, somebody will be in contact with you. Please be patient as we work through our procedures and allow us the time it takes to do so.
