Hewooooo I am Barb!

Barbie when I’m looking extra pretty, Barbados when I’m being naughty. My middle name is Streisand or Walters depending on the day. I’m a wide load of love coming straight for your heart.

My past is dark but my future is bright. My scars speak for themselves. I’ll spare you the details.

Now that I’ve been saved, I am focusing on living life to the fullest. And I take that literally. Being full is top priority. Hide ya breakfast, hide ya lunch, I’m coming for it. Jk. I will sit politely staring at you while you eat. But if you’re anything like my foster Dad (who wipes his greasy hands on his legs) I’ll be there to lick them clean. You are welcome.

Alright let’s talk business. Do you work from home? I’m a fabulous office dog. Do you have kids? I will not only give my life to protect them, but I will lick their cheesy fingies clean before they can even think about climbing up on that white sectional. Cats? Love! I’m here to keep them warm through these Buffalo winters.

Here’s my only thing. Dogs. I just … I just don’t really like my own kind. You humans are always saying “I like dogs more than people”. Well Barb likes people more than dogs!

So, if you’re a crazy cat lady, a mother of 5, a bachelor, young, old, pretty much ANYONE but an active dog mom or dad I AM YOUR GIRL!

I don’t ask for much, but a fenced in yard would be nice. I want to roast in the sun all summer long without you tapping your foot at the end of my leash to go back in the AC. I want to poop in peace without you breathing down my neck struggling to open a poop bag.

A couple of walks a week will keep me entertained. If you’re feeling extra lazy just throw me a squeaky toy to destroy or a bone to gnaw on and I will entertain myself.

You got somewhere to go? I’ll be in my crate snoring til you’re back. Take your time.

New carpet? I’m potty trained. No need to fret.

Social butterfly? All guests will be welcomed with my piggy snorts and happy dance.
