Hey y'all My name is Reba. I am a pure bred Great Pyrenees country gal. And I'm chasing that big dream of a country home of my own. I was born on a farm and now I'm on a foster farm but I'm learning the indoor life too. I love other dogs and playing. I dont like when they play rough and will stand up for myself. I am fine with the barn cat and I'm trying to learn that I'm not to chase chickens. I don't mind the horses here either. I already come to my name, and sit with voice and hand signals and I'm fancy and give you my paw, for a little kibble snack of course. Best part I got an A on potty training in the house. I'm learning about sleeping in my crate at night and when my foster mama cant watch me close. You should know I'm cute and fluffy n all but Im already a big girl at almost 4 months old, I weigh 40 pounds. I'll grow to be close to be a 100 pound lady if not maybe a little more. My breed is big and fluffy and though I'm no diva , spa days are key to keep my coat camera ready. I've heard theres a gal with my name that judges something called the Voice, I guess she can sing too. So let me tell you about MY voice. I'm a guardian breed and we bark not all day. My voice my way to protect you. When I grow up it's going to be BIG like me. So with all those big things about me my big dream is a home with knowledge and even better experience with my breed. So I can get all the right guidance and training specifice to me. I need a big securely fenced yard or a farm with proper fence. I'm a country gal and I like the great outdoors. You may ask why do I need a fence? One very important thing to know about my breed. We were originally bred to wander to follow and protect our herds of sheep. It's in my DNA so our breed has a penchant for wanderlust. So a good secure fence will keep me safest. If you have the space the knowledge and the love.... I'm your gal. Please keep in mind there are many factors to consider when choosing the right match for a puppy, so an application cannot guarantee adoption. Nor do we work on a "first come first served" basis, but rather strive to find the best match for the personality of each dog. At the time of adoption, the puppy will be current on vaccinations and deworming. He or she will come with a pre-scheduled appointment at our vet to be spayed or neutered that the adopter is obligated to keep. The puppy will also be microchipped at this time. Please consider the time and effort it takes to raise a puppy. Foster puppies are typically NOT potty trained. They require time and patience from their adopter. If you are NOT serious about adoption and have not discussed the possiblility of adding a new canine to your home with ALL live in family members, DO NOT APPLY. Volunteers spend countless hours reviewing applications, calling references, and scheduling home visits. Please be sure you are ready to add a puppy to your home BEFORE applying.
