Meet Walter — Your New Best Friend!

Hi there! My name is Walter, and I might just be the most charming, lovable guy you’ll ever meet. If you’re looking for a loyal, cuddly companion who just wants to be by your side, look no further—I’m your guy!

I’m up for just about anything as long as we do it together. Walks? Yes! Hiking? Absolutely! Snuggling on the couch? My specialty (once I’ve burned off some of my zoomies). I have plenty of energy and thrive with daily exercise, so an active home would be perfect for me.

I’m a social butterfly and get along great with other dogs, and I do well with cats and kids, too! I’m crate trained—though I’ll be honest, it’s not my favorite place—but I’m a good boy when I need to be. I’m also a gentleman on the leash… just be prepared for everyone to stop and say hi because, well, I’m irresistible.

Please keep in mind there are many factors to consider when choosing the right match for a dog, so an application cannot guarantee adoption. Nor do we work on a "first come first served" basis, but rather strive to find the best match for the personality of each dog.

As part of our adoption process, references both personal and veterinarian will be checked. Sadie's also requires a home visit before we adopt any of our dogs out; therefore we only adopt to our local WNY region.  Please only apply if you are serious about adopting as placing each foster dog in the best home takes time and effort by our volunteers.
