Meet Luna (aka Luna-Tuna)! Hi, I’m Luna! I came all the way from Texas and I’m cute, spunky, and full of personality. My foster mom calls me Luna-Tuna because I keep everyone laughing with my silly antics. I may be little, but I’m all pug through and through! I love running around with my foster family’s big dogs and fit right in with the pack. At night (or when my foster family leaves), I don’t mind hanging out in my crate. But when everyone’s home, I’m busy ruling the house! I’ll be honest—I’m still working on potty training. Sometimes I wake up dry, and sometimes… not so much. I get plenty of outside time, but I’m still figuring out when I’m supposed to go. With patience and consistency, I’ll get there! Like any curious pup, I may sneak off with a shoe or sock now and then—but that’s just part of my charm. I make up for it by being the best snuggler. Nap time with my foster dad is one of my favorite things in the world. I also love toys (especially the big dog toys!) and have already mastered the art of raiding the toy bin to keep myself busy. I’m ready to find a family of my own—and I wouldn’t mind having another dog buddy to follow around and play with. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful, snuggly pup with a big personality, I’m your girl! Apply today at www.sadiesrescue.org
Please keep in mind there are many factors to consider when choosing the right match for a puppy, so an application cannot guarantee adoption. Nor do we work on a "first come first served" basis, but rather strive to find the best match for the personality of each dog. At the time of adoption, the puppy will be current on vaccinations and deworming. He or she will come with a pre-scheduled appointment at our vet to be spayed or neutered that the adopter is obligated to keep. The puppy will also be microchipped at this time. Please consider the time and effort it takes to raise a puppy. Foster puppies are typically NOT potty trained. They require time and patience from their adopter. If you are NOT serious about adoption and have not discussed the possiblility of adding a new canine to your home with ALL live in family members, DO NOT APPLY. Volunteers spend countless hours reviewing applications, calling references, and scheduling home visits. Please be sure you are ready to add a puppy to your home BEFORE applying.
