Hi, I'm Griffin! If you're looking for a jogging buddy, and even possibly interested in dog sports I'm your guy! I'm fully potty trained. We are currently working on crate training to help me settle when I am alone. I do great with cats, and other dogs. I'm even established at Ruff Relations daycare in Hamburg and would be able to attend even though I'm past 6 months old because my foster family brings me there! I'm currently learning new people aren't so scary. My foster mom brings me to her dog training classes she teaches so I get to learn new people can be exciting. I do best with slow intros to people after about thirty minutes, I may even come up to you for some pets. I do take a little bit longer to trust men. Once we get to know each other I'm the best snuggle bug. I'll even sleep under the covers. I'd love it if you could work from home so we could spend even more time together! I do great in public. I dont bark at dogs or people. I don't enjoy strangers petting me, I love affection from those I know! I will tell strangers who try to pet me to go away by growling so its imporant you advocate for me. I'd do best in a home without young children. Dog savvy older teens would be great to help me get energy out.

Please keep in mind there are many factors to consider when choosing the right match for a dog, so an application cannot guarantee adoption. Nor do we work on a "first come first served" basis, but rather strive to find the best match for the personality of each dog.

As part of our adoption process, references both personal and veterinarian will be checked. Sadie's also requires a home visit before we adopt any of our dogs out; therefore we only adopt to our local WNY region. Please only apply if you are serious about adopting as placing each foster dog in the best home takes time and effort by our volunteers.
