ATTENTION CHIHUAHUA LOVERS!!!: If you are in the market for a pint sized best friend please consider Daisy. She's a very sweet girl, likes car rides, will shower you with kisses, loves soaking up the sun and enjoys her chihuahua den (crate). She's said to be around 5-6 years old, is potty trained and crate trained. Daisy has done well with calm canine foster siblings, she does prefer slow introductions as she can be a bit nervous around new canine friends and people, she would be great as an only dog as well. She is a true Chi and tends to pick her person. She is a vocal girl at times as most Chihuahua are and will alert to a knock at the door Or chime in when the other dogs are barking. She loves to snuggle under the blankets and just wants to be around her person. She is comfortable spending time in her crate and is fine in her crate even when her foster mom is home. She walks well on a leash using a harness and loves to explore outside. Daisy would make a great companion for a single person living in a quiet environment or a quiet 2 person home. She is living with a couple and does great with both the female and male in the home. Daisy is not a "plug and play dog", she will need a few days/weeks to really settle into her forever home. When given the proper exercise she is now thriving in a multi dog foster home. She also now loves walking in the woods, rolling in the grass and will even get her belly wet in the creek. A more country setting for Daisy would be best fit for her. If you are interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application at www.sadiesrescue.org As part of our adoption process, references both personal and veterinarian will be checked. Sadie's also requires a home visit before we adopt any of our dogs out; therefore we only adopt to our local WNY region. Please only apply if you are serious about adopting as placing each foster dog in the best home takes time and effort by our volunteers. More about DaisyGood with Cats
