Penny here. I made my way up here from North Carolina with my brother and for the first time in my 8 months of life we are apart. I've come to learn life can be great without him by my side as there are cats, kids, and other dogs everywhere to play with me! While I'm really a terrible guard dog, my foster mom says I'm great on a leash, crate-trained, housebroken, and love car rides. Oh and I'm also the best napper you'll ever meet, in fact sometimes I don't even want to leave the house if I say it's nap time! Some days I go to Camp Bow Wow so I can play with my brother and other friends! So if you're looking for someone who is good with dogs, kids, and cats, loves to cuddle with you to sleep, and is pretty easy going all around, send in an application so we can meet! (Now my foster mom did want to remind all interested while I am pretty perfect, I am still a puppy!)
Apply to adopt Penny at www.sadisrescue.org!
Please keep in mind there are many factors to consider when choosing the right match for a puppy, so an application cannot guarantee adoption. Nor do we work on a "first come first served" basis, but rather strive to find the best match for the personality of each dog. At the time of adoption, the puppy will be current on vaccinations and deworming. Please consider the time and effort it takes to raise a puppy. Foster puppies are typically NOT potty trained. They require time and patience from their adopter. If you are NOT serious about adoption and have not discussed the possibility of adding a new canine to your home with ALL live in family members, DO NOT APPLY. Volunteers spend countless hours reviewing applications, calling references, and scheduling home visits. Please be sure you are ready to add a puppy to your home BEFORE applying.
