I’m Pudge! The overbite wonder. When I don’t listen the first time they call me Pudginald. When I don’t listen the second time it’s Pudginald Simpson. I’m a feisty little trouble maker looking for a home. My ideal family would be full of dog experience and willing to continue my education. I just graduated kindergarten at The Noble Beast but I have hopes of getting my PhD one day. If I were to compare myself to a reality star it would be Jax Taylor from VPR. I’m handsome, hilarious, and I can ruin your life then win you back with my boyish charm. What I’ve learned in my foster home (other than the ins and outs of reality tv) is how to go potty outside, how to be a good boy in my crate, and what is and isn’t for pups to eat. I learned how to share and play nice with my foster siblings. I play with an 80lb Pitbull and a 10lb Chihuahua. I am a very diverse wrestler. I am also respectful of my kitty siblings. I give them their space and barely realize they’re even here. Suntanning is my passion. Wet willies are my love language. My favorite toy is a rubber chicken. Best snack is salami. Fav nap spot is on top of my foster brother. If you think you can give me the love, patience, and structure I need apply for my cute little butt today

This is not a breed for everyone, especially those who aren’t willing to invest time in training and socialization and can’t or won’t provide consistent firm guidance. When raised with the proper training and socialization, the Pit Bull Terrier makes an excellent companion. He is loving with people and often makes a lousy guard dog because of his tail-wagging eagerness to greet the person at the door. Pit Bull Terriers are devoted and loyal to their family. These dogs are extremely intelligent and learn commands and tricks with ease. They have a zest for life and love to be involved in everything going on around them. They maintain a puppyish demeanor well into adulthood, and that vitality makes them a joy to live with. Pudge does not like to be forced into situations and will let you know when he has enough.  He has made great progress in training at The Noble Beast training facility and will need a family that will continue his education.  Pudge needs a home with older children.

Please keep in mind there are many factors to consider when choosing the right match for a puppy, so an application cannot guarantee adoption. Nor do we work on a "first come first served" basis, but rather strive to find the best match for the personality of each dog. At the time of adoption, the puppy will be current on vaccinations and deworming.  Please consider the time and effort it takes to raise a puppy.  They require time and patience from their adopter.  If you are NOT serious about adoption and have not discussed the possiblility of adding a new canine to your home with ALL live in family members, DO NOT APPLY.  Volunteers spend countless hours reviewing applications, calling references, and scheduling home visits.  Please be sure you are ready to add a puppy to your home BEFORE applying.

Our puppy adoption fee is $350 plus a $50 training deposit, which is refunded to the adopter when he or she provides proof of having completed a basic obedience class with their puppy. As part of our adoption process, references both personal and veterinarian will be checked. Sadie's also requires a home visit before we adopt any of our dogs out; therefore we only adopt to our local WNY region.
