Hi! My name is Indy and I love you. I love all people! I want to kiss your face and collect belly rubs and have your undivided attention! I would do best as the only pet in the household. Although I adore the 2 dogs in my foster home, I have not reacted well to meeting other dogs. I would benefit from training to improve my reactions to other dogs. I go to the pet store about once a month for toys, meet and greets, or baths and I’m okay to be in the vicinity of other dogs there. I also have cats in my foster home and I am laser focused on their every move- stage 5 clinger! I have done very well with crate training! I easily go in my crate for a peanut butter stuffed kong or a bone. I’ve never had an accident in my crate. I sleep in the bedroom with my foster parents and fur sister and I don’t have any accidents overnight. I am still figuring out how to let you know when I have to go out, so it is best to set an alarm during the day to take me out periodically. I am a large dog, weighing around 55 pounds, and I’m very strong! My estimated birthdate is 12/1/21. I suffered from Parvo and underwent extensive treatment before fully recovering and making my way to Buffalo from Uvalde, Texas 9/11/22. If I’m the Brindle Beauty you’ve been searching for, please fill out an application- I would love to meet you! If you think Indy is th right girl for you pleae fill out an application at www.sadiesrescue.org! Please keep in mind there are many factors to consider when choosing the right match for a dog, so an application cannot guarantee adoption. Nor do we work on a "first come first served" basis, but rather strive to find the best match for the personality of each dog. As part of our adoption process, references both personal and veterinarian will be checked. Sadie's also requires a home visit before we adopt any of our dogs out; therefore we only adopt to our local WNY region. Please only apply if you are serious about adopting as placing each foster dog in the best home takes time and effort by our volunteers. More about IndyGood with Dogs, Good with Cats
