Hi! My name is Indy and I’m a survivor! I had the dreaded Parvo and underwent treatment paid for by my friends at Sadie’s! After my spay surgery, I headed to Buffalo from Uvalde, Texas. I am all about kisses and couch time! I love the other dogs in my foster home, though I sometimes have more energy and want to play more than they do. I love to chase squirrels, bunnies, toads….anything that catches my eye! I sometimes like to stalk the cats in my foster home! I would never hurt them, but I definitely can get on their nerves- I’m a stage 5 cat-clinger! I am a very sweet and loving girl, but please remember I am a huge puppy and I will eat your favorite slippers, an unattended cord, or your homework if you aren’t paying attention! I am 8-9 months old and close to 45 lbs. It is estimated that I will be between 60-70 lbs. when full grown. I do very well with being in my crate, especially with a peanut butter-filled kong to pass the time. I am doing well with potty training. I won’t let you know that I have to go, so I need to be taken out regularly. If I am the beautiful brindle sidekick you have been looking for, fill out an application! I would LOVE to meet you!
If you think Indy is th right girl for you pleae fill out an application at www.sadiesrescue.org!
Please keep in mind there are many factors to consider when choosing the right match for a dog, so an application cannot guarantee adoption. Nor do we work on a "first come first served" basis, but rather strive to find the best match for the personality of each dog.
As part of our adoption process, references both personal and veterinarian will be checked. Sadie's also requires a home visit before we adopt any of our dogs out; therefore we only adopt to our local WNY region. Please only apply if you are serious about adopting as placing each foster dog in the best home takes time and effort by our volunteers.
