Romeo is true to his name - he is a total sweetheart who loves attention! Romeo has three canine foster siblings and has been around several other dogs. He absolutely loves to play with them but easily matches the energy level of those around him. Romeo is much more confident with another dog around, so Romeo's ideal home will have another doggie playmate. He is happy to romp & wrestle or relax on the couch - the perfect balance of fun yet easygoing.

Romeo is super smart and is learning basic manners very quickly. He is fully potty trained and sleeps quietly in his crate all night! He is working on his leash skills but will need a patient person to show him that the leash can lead to fun adventures. Romeo does have some of the usual herding breed tendencies, so he would do best in a family with children over 10 years old.

If you think Romeo would be the perfect addition to your family, please complete an adoption application found under the "Adopt" menu at www.sadiesrescue.org

Please keep in mind there are many factors to consider when choosing the right match for a dog, so an application cannot guarantee adoption. Nor do we work on a "first come first served" basis, but rather strive to find the best match for the personality of each dog.

As part of our adoption process, references both personal and veterinarian will be checked. Sadie's also requires a home visit before we adopt any of our dogs out; therefore we only adopt to our local WNY region.  Please only apply if you are serious about adopting as placing each foster dog in the best home takes time and effort by our volunteers.
