Australian Shepherd / Mixed : : Female : : Young : : Medium
Hi, everybody. My name is Indy and I’m a 10 month old Texas girl. I’m an Australian Shepard mix, weigh just over 40 pounds and I love everyone I meet....human and canine alike.
Foster mom thinks I’m awesome because I haven’t had one accident in the house and I ask to go out when I need to go potty. I do okay in my crate...even if I do cry for just a bit. Can’t blame me for trying and when I realize it isn’t going to work, I happily settle down to enjoy my Kong.
Foster dad has taken me for walks and he says I have pretty good leash manners. I'm a super smart girl and I'm already working on basic commands. My favorite things? Running and wrestling with my fur siblings, splashing around my doggie pool and I love stuffies and Nylabones!
I’d be happy with four-legged siblings or as a solo act since I like people so much. If you are interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application at www.sadiesrescue.org
Please keep in mind there are many factors to consider when choosing the right match for a dog, so an application cannot guarantee adoption. Nor do we work on a "first come first served" basis, but rather strive to find the best match for the personality of each dog. At the time of adoption, Indy will be current on all vaccinations and will have a spay appointment scheduled with our veterinarian that the adopter is required to maintain, at which time Indy will also receive her microchip.
As part of our adoption process, references both personal and veterinarian will be checked. Sadie's also requires a home visit before we adopt any of our dogs out; therefore we only adopt to our local WNY region. Please only apply if you are serious about adopting as placing each foster dog in the best home takes time and effort by our volunteers.
